This Privacy Policy describes how PixEarn ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use PixEarn Store (store.pixearn.com) — whether as a seller (creator) or a buyer. By using PixEarn Store, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

This policy applies specifically to PixEarn Store. For the PixEarn main platform (pixearn.com), please refer to the privacy policy on that site.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account data: email address, username, display name, and avatar (synced from your PixEarn account).
  • Seller payout details: For Indian sellers — bank account holder name, bank account number (encrypted), and IFSC code. For international sellers — PayPal email address. We do not store unencrypted bank account numbers.
  • Product listings: product title, description, price, preview images, and downloadable files you upload.
  • Buyer information: email address provided during checkout, buyer name (optional), and country.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps when you access PixEarn Store.
  • Cookies: We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. See Section 5 for more details.
  • Transaction data: purchase amounts, currencies, payment status, and order history.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Razorpay: Payment status, Razorpay customer ID, and transaction identifiers. We do not receive or store full card numbers or CVVs.
  • DodoPayments: Subscription status, plan type, billing dates, and renewal history for paid store plans.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Operate the PixEarn Store platform and process transactions.
  • Authenticate sellers and buyers.
  • Process and settle seller payouts.
  • Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, payout notifications, subscription billing receipts).
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • Improve our platform based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on infrastructure that meets industry-standard security practices. We use:

  • Encryption at rest: Database storage is encrypted by the hosting provider.
  • Application-level encryption: Bank account numbers are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored. The encryption key is never stored in the database.
  • TLS in transit: All communication between your browser and our servers uses TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • Row-level security: Database access is restricted so sellers can only read their own data; buyers can only access their own purchases.

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

4. Sharing of Information

We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Razorpay: Buyer email and transaction details are shared with Razorpay to process payments. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant.
  • DodoPayments: Seller email is shared with DodoPayments to manage subscriptions.
  • Resend: We use Resend to deliver transactional emails. Recipient email addresses are processed by Resend.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of PixEarn, our users, or the public.

Sellers can see buyers' email addresses and names on orders placed for their products. Buyers do not receive seller payout details.

5. Cookies

PixEarn Store uses the following types of cookies:

  • Essential / session cookies: Required to keep you authenticated. These cannot be disabled without preventing you from accessing protected features.
  • Analytics cookies: We may use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics in the future. We will update this policy before doing so.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion, unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
  • Transaction and order records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
  • Payout account details: Deleted when you remove your payout account or close your seller account.
  • Log data: Retained for up to 90 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities.

8. Children's Privacy

PixEarn Store is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. International Transfers

PixEarn is operated from India. If you access the platform from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the platform you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered sellers by email before material changes take effect. The updated policy will be posted on this page with the revised date.
